Maintaining happiness isn’t an easy quest in life. Its is linked to so many variables. Maybe all you need are a few simple tweaks to your life. . Here are some little changes you could make that will improve your life.

⦁ How to discover Your Life’s Purpose

Discovering your life purpose involves quieting external expectations and tuning into what consistently energizes and fulfils you. What inspires yout to acheive and gives you passion to live. Stop for a minute and focus on the reason you do what you do on a daily basis. Figure out the “why” if you will. The ‘why’ that makes you wanna excel and overcome. Notice activities that make time disappear, values that you defend, and problems you feel driven to solve. Reflect on past moments when you felt most alive, like your life was ignited by a flame of passion. Solicit honest feedback from trusted friends or mentors about your strengths and some weakness in order to grow and excel further by finding solutions to your weaknesses, or making peace with them. Try experimenting with new roles or projects to gather real-world evidence and reinvigorate and ignite passion, and commit to small, regular practices—journaling, mindfulness, jogging, or volunteering—that reveal positive patterns within your journey to a better living over time. Accept and understand that purpose evolves with time and patience, so treat discovery as an iterative process of alignment between your skills, values, and a contribution that truly matters to you and your wellbeing.

Once you connect with your inner purpose, you’ll have a whole new outlook on life. Your energy level will rise and you will feel more empowered to change, and not fear it. You’ll have a new spring in your step and probably walk with a swagger like Mick Jagger. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our daily life that we lose track of why we are here in the first place, and that is to find our presence and semblance of peace of self through understanding, achieving, empowering self, and recreating self into true happiness.

⦁ Focusing on Health and Fitness

Frequently you hear the phrase “If you have your health, you have everything!” It is so true, because if you don’t have good health, it can make everything else in life seem harder to achieve. Hang in there. For the present is called that for a reason. Its a gift. A gift to make changes in the present time, that can lead to a path of a better life, a healthier one. Why you are reading this.

We see people every day abusing their health. They smoke, drink too much alcohol, eat too much unhealthy food, gain weight to the point of becoming obese and then become couch potatoes, and complain about the bad hand of life they were dealt. Don’t be that person. Use your present, that gift given to you by the Universe to discover a better way forward into yourr future.

Focusing on health and fitness starts with the ‘mindset switch’ 1st, then setting realistic, measurable goals and creating a routine that balances cardiovascular exercise, strength training and restorative practices like stretching or yoga. Find your groove and move I say. Prioritize quality sleep, hydration and whole foods for better life body balance—lean proteins are a must, vegetables, fruits, whole grains and healthy fats like olive oil, avocado, nuts and coconut oil for instance—while limiting ultra‑processed items and added sugars. Hit your fibre too and hit it hard folks. Helps you feel fuller and regular…bazinga.

Use meal planning or simple tracking to maintain consistency over time if you must as it is a good way to support your healthy change. Build accountability through scheduled workouts, progress checks and social support (a friend, coach or group class), adapt your plan gradually to prevent injury and burnout, and remember that mental well‑being—stress management, mindfulness and regular rest days—is as important as physical activity for long‑term success and progress. Exercising has a way of making you feel good. It will also improve your outlook on life and your emotional health, increase your productivity, and give you some clarity on your life purpose.

This little dude knows what its about. He is way to adorably small to try valerian root to help with the quality of sleep, but you’re not….small I mean. Adorable, possibly.

⦁ How to get good Sleep

Sleep like a baby I say. When we sleep, it is a time when our body recharges itself. Quality sleep is essential for physical recovery, cognitive function and emotional balance. It’ll help deal with adult tantrums and crankiness….Yes admit it, you throw tantrums too sometimes. We all get a bit tightly wound up. A good nights sleep or even a mid day nap can help with that. Try to establish a consistent sleep schedule by going to bed and waking at the same times daily. creating a cool, dark and quiet bedroom(not danky folks! Keep itclean) environment is best to achieve a good rest.. Limiting screens and bright lights for at least an hour before bed, avoiding heavy meals, caffeine and alcohol in the evenings, and developing a calming pre-sleep routine such as reading, gentle stretching or breathing exercises to signal your body it’s time to rest can do wonders in the realm of a better sleep. If suffering from interrupted sleep, try to look at why you are not sleeping as long, or as well as you should. It could be you are thinking about something that is keeping you awake at night. Or it could be environmental. Look at the quality of your mattress and bedding, temperature of your bedroom, the amount of light coming in through the window, noise outside… everything. Change what is causing you issues and get the rest you need.

⦁ Be Grateful

Cultivating gratitude starts with small, intentional practices: each morning or evening, name three specific things you appreciate—people, moments, or simple comforts—and reflect on why they matter; keep a gratitude journal to track patterns and shifts in perspective; express thanks directly to others, whether in person, by note, or by action, to strengthen relationships and reinforce positive feelings. you could even take a 20-minute slow walk outside. Smell the air, listen to the birds sing, feel the heat of the sun on your skin or the cool brisk air if its a colder month. Revel in Nature and all she has to offer. Try seeking lessons or silver linings that expand resilience and confidence. Try best to incorporate mindfulness or brief pauses throughout the day to notice sensations and experiences you might otherwise take for granted, which helps gratitude become a habitual lens rather than an occasional feeling.

⦁ Always Have a Goal

Having a clear goal provides direction and purpose, helping you prioritize your efforts, make better decisions and measure progress rather than drifting aimlessly like so many of us do. Having a goal boosts motivation by breaking large ambitions into manageable steps that you can handle with more ease, fosters accountability and resilience when facing setbacks, and enables more efficient use of time and resources while clarifying to yourself what your success looks like. ultimately turning intentions into consistent action and measurable outcomes for a better quality of life. Use”

SMART(S.M.A.R.T):

⦁ Specific – State exactly your end goal or what it is that you want to accomplish.

⦁ Measurable – How are you going to gauge whether you are making progress?

⦁ Attainable – Are there things that could get in your way and prevent you from reaching your goal? Clear the roadblocks before starting.

⦁ Realistic – Can you achieve your goal? Do you have all the assets and resources that you need to be successful?

⦁ Time-sensitive – Set a timetable with an ending date when you plan on being at your end goal. Set smaller mini-goals or mileposts in between so you can track progress. Celebrate each accomplishment with a reward. Just make sure the reward does not sabotage the goal.

⦁ Choose to be Happy

Yes, it is a choice! and a crucial one at best. The mind is a powerful thing. Learn to control it and choose to be happy while not expecting others to make your happiness for you. You will end up being stronger for it. For further reading on this, have a look at my article, Gaining forward momentum through positive reclamation . If you are more in control of your happiness, not much will ever be able to bring you down as you wouldn’t allow it. Who doesn’t want to be happy? and if it does bring you down in the dumps, well, you’ll know how to pick yourself up.

⦁ How to reduce Stress

Surprisingly we need stress to survive believe it or not. But too much of anything isn’t good, right? Reducing stress can be achieved through simple, consistent habits. we have discussed the importance of sleep earlier, well sleep is a good way of reducing stress. Moving your body daily with activities you enjoy, and practicing mindful breathing or short meditations to calm the nervous system can do wonders to alleviate stress and reduce cortisol levels within the body. Organizing tasks by breaking them into manageable steps and setting realistic boundaries around work and personal time helps to prevent overwhelm of the mind. Nourish your body with regular, balanced meals and limit stimulants like caffeine and excessive screen time, especially before bed. You can even try some natural herbal remedies such as Ginkgo Biloba, Valerian root, or Ashwagandha. Cultivating supportive relationships and scheduling brief moments in nature can destress you in remarkable ways. Doing hobbies or trying to do something more creative like baking, cooking, crafting ect. can restore perspective and resilience to negative precursors of stress within self. Do what you gotta do to keep stress low, even if it entails getting a new career or job. Try to focus on what you can control within your sphere as worrying about all the changes within the world can spike panic, fear, dread ect. thus bringing you more stress.

The world is forever changing, so are you. So make your changes a good one and one that will make you happy in the present and future. Take time with life as it took time to get you to this point in it. Just be more in control of the changes is all, best you can homies.
